Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern the products, site surveys and installation services provided by Verisko Security ("Verisko", "we", "us"). By requesting a survey, accepting a quote or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

Our services

We supply and professionally install AI security camera systems for homes and businesses in Uganda, including hardware, cabling, configuration, app setup and after-sales support.

Surveys and quotes

We offer a free, no-obligation site survey. Any quote we provide is based on that survey and the information you give us. Prices and package details shown on our website are indicative and may be adjusted to suit your site; the figure in your written quote is what applies. New written quotes are valid for 7 days. Existing accepted quotes and contracts retain their agreed terms.

Pricing and payment

• Standard packages include cameras, a correctly sized recorder, standard cabling, installation, phone setup and the care described below. Hard drives are optional add-ons. Without a compatible hard drive, the system provides live viewing without stored recordings or playback.
• Prices exclude separately applicable VAT. Your written quote confirms the final scope, any extra work, add-ons and tax treatment.
• The three-month plan, subject to approval, is approximately 40% on installation day, 30% after 30 days and the remaining balance after 60 days. Financing is included in the quoted total, with no separate plan fee. Payments are rounded to UGX 10,000, with the final payment clearing the exact balance.
• You may instead pay 60% before installation and 40% on completion, or pay in full, at the same total price. Your written quote records the selected plan and exact payments.
• Additional cameras or hardware added to a package are charged at the rates quoted to you.

Installation and access

You agree to provide safe access to the property and a suitable power supply on the agreed installation date. Where site conditions differ materially from the survey, timelines or costs may be adjusted, and we will discuss this with you before proceeding. Difficult cable routes, extra materials, additional crew time, special access equipment or extra travel are priced after the survey. Outdoor cameras alone do not make an installation complex.

Included callbacks and monitoring

New packages include 12 months of callbacks and system-health monitoring from installation, using an on-site mini PC. This is included in the package price. Monitoring checks camera and system availability so we can identify outages and arrange follow-up. It does not give Verisko access to view, record or store your footage. Outage visibility depends on connectivity and reporting; loss of reporting does not always identify the exact cause of a fault.

Camera and installed-cable replacement warranty

For 2 years from installation, Verisko replaces faulty cameras and faulty installed cables. This covers faults only; accidental damage and power-surge damage are excluded. This replacement warranty applies to cameras and installed cables. Any separate warranty for other equipment is stated in your written quote.

Your responsibilities

• Use the system lawfully and respect the privacy of others when positioning and operating cameras.
• Keep your app login credentials secure.
• Contact us before modifying or relocating installed equipment so we can advise and preserve your warranty.

Limitation of liability

We take care to install reliable systems, but no security system can guarantee prevention of all incidents. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Verisko is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the system.

Intellectual property

The Verisko name, logo, website content and designs belong to Verisko Security and may not be copied or reused without permission.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above shows when they were last revised. Existing accepted quotes and contracts retain their agreed terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
